(re-post)
...I would like to share the sight and sound that stopped me in my stroll and had me eye-swivelling and head-turning in curiosity and wonder.
It was this : willow branches heavy with newly-forming leaves being swept by the wind back and forth along and across the corrugated roof of a workshop.
The sound was like knuckles on a washboard; a stick along a picket fence. But it was the 'voice' of willow branches prancing across a wavy roof on a windy spring morning.
