These were handwoven fibre archeology scarves discovered at church thrift store 'digs' which I turned into bags with this wonderful design.
I don't know who made the red one but the green piece carried this label and I am always thrilled and thankful when someone 'signs' her or his work and I include it, of course!, into the re-purposing.
This is the first time I used one of my handwoven pieces to make the bag. Yes! One side.
(The other side. It makes a crinkling sound when I carry it from the weft of orange plastic thrums. Yes!
Today it will make its first outing.
