I enjoy the daily challenge of these jumbles and find it interesting how sometimes the word is immediately apparent, how other times it takes time to sort out the letters and how once or twice I have come up with a completely different word to the one that will solve the final puzzle. Also playing with the theory that looking at a puzzle on varying degrees of angle rather than directly can affect the result of solution has led to some worthwhile findings. Fun and games.
Today I put forth yet another aspect. Often enough the words lend themselves to a story coming to mind and I wonder if that reflects the thoughts of the creators on that day. Maybe these are all computer generated, but, what the heck, why let facts stand in the way of a good story, of holding to the human element.
Today: "We don't want to brood on this issue of aging and indulge in morbid thoughts so we have decided to branch out into bird watching, also known as ornithology - hey, Mike, get out the dictionary, we don't want to be thought of as bird brains!"
