A morning stroll by the Castle usually has me engaging in greetings and sometimes conversations with the tourists but yesterday I could not help but notice this work of art in the sky.
Created by nature. Ephemeral. Exquisite. Priceless. Undervalued.
I suppose someone denied such a vision might pay millions to see it again.
Captured by the magic of a small digital camera that is an accommodating companion, the image presents here on my screen (and yours too, now!) and I see what I saw then: a face.
In close up more detail can be seen: a beard, perhaps side whiskers, gnome-like nose, pensive eyes. At least in that second of viewing.
Coincidentally it seems to be looking down on the adjacent house at the suite where I once lived. We would sit out on the deck in the evening and hear the clop, clop, clop of the horses and carriages with sightseers driving through the porte cochere .
