Bubbles are spheres of pure magic at any time of the day (or night!). These were very early ones when the sun had barely appeared over the horizon, bringing out the rainbows in each bubble, capturing my shadow.
The air was cool and crisp; late summer in early September.
Morning dew provides a surface for the bubbles to rest without breaking.
A few minutes later, back in the house, preparing breakfast, I glanced outside.
Boy, can that sun scoot up in the sky and shift the lighting.... And I saw this lone bubble.
I watched it until it burst.
