If you knit and go to lots and lots of garage sales and renovate houses and love gardening and love flowers but do not like to pick flowers from the garden and rob them of their time outdoors - eventually it occurs to you to put pretty doorknobs on top of knitting needles in a vase for a bouquet.

Now there's an idea - using them actually in the garden - on thin smooth rebar of a length that will sway in the wind. Wow.
