Exploring the adventure of Origami can lead beyond paper to wondering how a leaf or a crepe or hair or - in this case - a knitted blanket will respond to being folded. In this case - I like how each day the folds are different and result in a creation that changes each day. I like how the creases are soft rather than crisp, and how the stages are suggested rather than disciplined.
I am particularly surprised at how, having the experience of folding fabric thusly and going back to paper with the memory - and some subconscious expectation - of what knitted fibre can do, finding that paper fibre complies. That paper responds to a gentle persuasion!
