Folded from a single piece of cloth; starting with a triangular shape from folding down a corner; only three cuts - armholes and neckline; minimum of sewing (to anchor folds); pockets, kick pleats, form on their own; edges left (mostly) free, unfettered; each one different.
(This is a re-post from many years ago. I came across some interesting material at the Friday church thrift store and decided to make another of my Origami original-design dress. Blogging across many years has produced several posts on fibre art - a worthwhile record of the work. And I came across these. Most I still have but a few are gone - nice to see them and remember.
